Whitman No. 769, ©1934 Stephen Slesinger, Inc. Photo cover. BLB features alternating text pages interspersed w/50 movie stills from the 1933 Tarzan serial "Tarzan The Fearless," featuring Buster Crabbe in his only film appearance as Tarzan. First interior page has been boldly signed in black ink by Buster Crabbe (1908-1983), who added "Personal Regards" inscription. Scattered moderate wear/spine wear to cover w/slight spine fade and some staining across top margin of front cover. Front cover also has 1/8" chip of lower right corner tip. Pages shows obvious wear at this area, w/varying degrees of corner chipping. Fair/Good overall, but signed page still displays Exc. While Crabbe was a prolific signer, BLBs were not often used to obtain his signature. Any Crabbe signed BLB is a rarity, and this is the first we've offered in our 52 years. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
