Item Description
Huge 14.5x20-3/8x4.75" deep Kellogg's "Sugar Corn Pops" store display box recreates smaller store boxes and features Guy Madison on front at Wild Bill Hickok. Back features Kellogg's "Raisin Bran Flakes" display. 1950s. Scattered handling wear w/some edge creases. Fine/VF overall. Very impressive and rare, this the first example we've offered in our 52 years. Comes w/7.25" tall 5 oz. size box of "Sugar Corn Pops" which features same image of Madison on front. Back has No. 7 from series of 16 "Famous Indian" portraits that could be cut out. This is Joseph Brant of the Mohawk tribe. Side panel features premium offer for "Wild Bill Hickok Marshal Badge" that was available for one box top and 25¢. Box has evenly moderate aging and shows some scattered handling wear. .5" line puncture to side panel. Top has been sliced open and foamcore reinforcement added. Slice is a bit uneven, but box remains complete. VG/Fine.
