Item Description
Lot of five, all issued 1956. 8.5x11" spiral-bound retailer's catalog features 26 single-sided pages, including extensive text and subjects, including sales plans that mention "Cisco Kid Ranchers Club" which included club pin, membership card, certificate and "Honorary Citizens Of Cisco" scrolls. Contests and "The Cisco Kid Book Of Famous Western Cattle Brands" book are also mentioned. Much content relates to promotion of the club, including TV coverage. NM. Rare due to limited distribution to potential sponsors. Only copy we know of, and this is the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA. Lot also includes 1.75" litho button w/Green Duck maker name text on curl. Button has a few tiny spots off rim, but still glossy and VF overall. 2.5x4" membership card is unused but has paperclip mark w/two tiny spots of oxidation at left. Fine/VF. Two 8.5x11" certificates include "Brand Registration Certificate" w/"Dan-Dee Snacks" sponsor imprint. Other certificate notes accepted cattle brand and has typed "Kelly's I.G.A. Store" imprint. Both are o/w unused w/some scattered aging/wear, including a few minor spots of rust staining. Fine overall.
