Item Description
10x12.25x1-3/8" deep illustrated cardboard retailer's box originally held 20 packages of Gillette Blue Blades and 20 envelopes, each containing pair of premium Pinocchio character masks. This premium promotion took place during the film's original 1940 release. Front of box features photo image of boy w/mask display while back features images of characters for which masks were - produced - Pinocchio, Geppetto, Jiminy Cricket, Figaro and Cleo. Box is incomplete as missing bottom flaps and top inner flaps. Moderate aging/handling wear w/creases and some splits. VG overall. Rare and first we've offered in our 52 years. Comes w/10x12" envelope w/text suggesting uses for masks. Some corner creases and minor edge wear. Fine/VF. Comes w/sealed box of razors and compete set of five die-cut stiff paper masks, most w/remnants of original rubberbands at sides. Some minor lt. handling wear but Exc. overall.
