Item Description
10x14" 16-page glossy pressbook for 15-chapter Columbia movie serial released in 1947. The serial starred John Hart in the title role and Rosemary LaPlanche (Miss America 1941) as Betty. Contents include many photo examples of movie posters as well as cast photos and much text, including mention of the Jack Armstrong radio program. Premium items are also pictured, including a coloring contest and a movie theater club card. Horizontal fold at center as issued w/pinch crease along this fold. Scattered trace of dust soiling on cover and a few interior pages. Center four pages are loose from one staple but still intact. Fine overall. Rare pressbook. This is a file copy from the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold. This is the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
