Item Description
This complete 1952 set of premium rings, each w/brass band holding a large flexible rubber three-dimensional head w/painted accents and metal rod running through the head w/pair of plastic balls on ends, used to twist and thus make the facial expressions move. Ring bands are smooth w/dull brass finish as these were not produced w/high luster. Faces show just lt. aging and retain near full painted accents. High grade, Exc. examples. Rare as as set and in this condition. Comes w/felt ring display. Also comes w/10-1/8" tall 9.5 oz. size box of "Rice Krispies." Back of box features Howdy Doody image and side panel has ad for the rings, noting they were available individually for one box top and 25¢. Box is an assembled file copy w/just trace even aging. NM. Rare cereal box. This is the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA. The ultimate lot for this classic premium ring promotion.
