Item Description
Kenner "1947-2000 Memorial Cap". Tan canvas hat w/green brim. In 2000, the Cincinnati home of Kenner toys was shut down after being acquired by Hasbro several years earlier. This baseball cap was created as a nostalgiac keepsake for the company's employees. It features two Kenner logos: the text brand used on most of the company's products, and the classic "gooney bird," an early logo that lasted until the 1970s. It also has the embroidered dates during which the company operated: 1947-2000. Kenner produced many popular toys, and Star Wars was their most famous. Cap shows lt. aging/wear. Displays Exc.
