Item Description
8x8x2.5" deep box w/die-cut display lid contains illustrated tray insert and eight hard plastic figures, ranging in height from 1.5" to 2.5" tall. Box display and figures come w/introduction sheet and two promotional posters; one advertising the "Wicket The Ewok" cartoon series (which was officially titled "Ewok" and is also known as "Star Wars: Ewoks"), the other advertising "Caravan Of Courage: An Ewok Adventure" live action TV movie. All were uses to promote Kenner's then upcoming "Wicket The Ewok" line of preschool toys. ©1984 Lucasfilm Ltd. Display box and posters are unique to this promotional set while figures are production pieces w/adhesive on undersides of feet to keep figures in place on display insert. Box shows some scattered corner tip wear and display lid has been punched. Insert has been folded as intended and box is VF/Exc. overall. Posters have been folded as issued and are VF. Letter has some creasing to margins as stored in box, but Fine overall. Figures include - Wicket, Princess Kneesaa, Paploo, Latara, Mookie, Gwig as well as additional figures of Wicket and Princess Kneesaa in firefighter gear (as Kenner also produced a "Ewok Fire Cart" set). Figures show just trace wear and are Exc. overall. Rare promotional display as these saw very limited distribution.
