Item Description
Pair of papers dating to the earliest days of the Mickey Mouse Movie Club, which started in 1930. Both papers utilize same early Mickey image as seen on previous buttons and other club items before it was replaced by more traditional pie-eye Mickey image provided by Walt Disney Studios. 3x5.25" membership application for the club mentions Chief Mickey Mouse role. Lightly aged but unused and Exc. 3-5/8x5.25" child's movie pass for the Palace Theatre features double Mickey images and has been neatly filled out in ink. Top margin slightly uneven w/thin strip of staining as removed from pad of passes. Bottom center has three pin holes and some surface paper wear. Fine overall. Both are rare and the first we've seen of either in our 52 years.
