Item Description
29" wide by 68.5" tall die-cut cardboard standee features wonderful full body art image of Lone Ranger w/separate foreground section featuring various General Mills products including Wheaties, Cheerios, Kix, Trix and Sugar Jets cereal boxes w/Betty Crocker "Pick-A-Pack" cereal sampler section underneath "Reward - A Better Breakfast" sign. This separate piece is affixed into die-cut slots on Lone Ranger's knee and between his legs. His lower arms/hands are also die-cut, giving his drawn guns an added three-dimensional effect. Back of standee also features names of cereals as well as repeated "Reward" sign image. Back features hole attachments for insertion of cardboard tube/pole (not included) for upright store display. Scattered wear, mainly at corners, which show wear w/creasing (some breaking surface paper) and surface paper wear. Edges also have some scattered wear. VG/Fine overall. One of only a few known to exist, our last example selling for $1,897 in 2014. This is the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA. Very rare and one of the most desirable character store displays of the 1950s.
