Item Description
Ad Carter's "Just Kids" comic strip debuted July 23, 1923, running until 1947. Offered here is a trio of items produced during the strip's heyday, 1928-1930s. 8x9.75x.5" boxed set contains "Just Kids 4 Picture Puzzles" set No. 910 by Saalfield. Box lid shows moderate wear w/four edge tears and heavy staining along right edge. Box bottom also has side tear. Box is VG. Puzzles measure 7.5x9.5" when assembled. Complete w/just some trace wear. Exc. overall. 8.5x11" coloring book by Eilert Printing Co. is titled "Just Kids Comics For Crayon Coloring." 12 pages, each w/duplicate images; one color guide and one to color. All have been colored and book has some spine wear w/1.75" split at bottom and .5" split at top. VG/Fine. Scarce. 1.25" dia. cello button by Parisian Novelty Co. pictures two of the gang and advertises "Just Kids" sweater. Glossy and Exc.
