Full 1-3/8x5.5" ticket for Game 1 of the 1939 World Series, where the New York Yankees and Cincinnati Reds squared off at Yankee Stadium. Originally schedule for Oct. 1, 1939, Game 1 was postponed until Oct. 4 due to rain. The Yankees won Game 1, 2-1 w/the Yankees going on to win the series in four games. Ticket is for lower stand box seat that originally cost $1.65. Stub features image of the Trylon & Perisphere from the 1939 New York World's Fair. Ticket has two faint vertical creases, one along separation, but ticket is fully intact and still displays nicely. VF.
