Item Description
From the Fleer Archives and comes w/typed index card "Spec Sheet." All items have some glue staining as noted as once mounted for archiving purposes. Issued in 1961. ACC# R730-4. Empty display box is 3.75x8x1.75" deep and originally contained 24 5¢ wax packs. Nice box art. Glue staining to interior as once neatly flattened but now assembled as intended. Outside has moderate wear/aging but box still bright and Fine. Pair of 5x6" wrappers (each w/a different mail-away premium offer) have trace of glue staining on backs but fronts still clean for display. There were 66 cards in this set, each 2.5x3.5" w/full color art fronts and bio text backs. Pirates of various era and countries of origin are featured. Lot includes 97 cards but not a full set. Half have glue staining on front corners, the other half on back corners. All sold as is. From the Bruce Weiner Collection/Fleer Archives.
