Item Description
4.25x9.25x2.5" deep box contains complete amount of 24 units. 1960s by Swell/Philadelphia Chewing Gum Corp. A rather unusual product, each is a 4" long tube shaped piece of gum w/cello wrapper depicting a woman's finger. Each wrapper has same image of a ring but in addition to this, each also comes with a metal/plastic ring that fits over the wrapper. Most designs are different, but there are a few duplicates, and these included simulated jewels, lady bug, dragon and more. Box art includes finger wearing a ring. Die-cut lid is loose. Other lt. wear but VF. Contents are NM to Mint as issued. Rare and something very different for both gum and ring collectors. From the Bruce Weiner Collection/Phila. Gum Archives.
