Item Description
11x17" on thin uncoated card stock. Promoting a concert Dec. 30 in Los Angeles, California. Design featuring trio of pyramids referencing the Dead's legendary summer 1978 Egyptian concerts in front of the Great Sphinx in the Giza pyramid complex. Single pin hole in each corner and staple holes in lower r/l fields and top r/l margins. Otherwise extremely clean. VF. Scarce. The following night the Dead headed to San Francisco to close down the legendary Winterland Ballroom. While the history of the following night often looms over this show, attendees of both often sight this as the superior performance.
