Item Description
16-5/8x29-1/8" first printing glossy paper poster for Oct. 23-24, 1971 concerts that took place at the East Town Theater in Detroit, MI that featured The Grateful Dead and the New Riders of the Purple Sage. Poster features art by Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley features a cropped version of the now iconic Grateful Dead image of a skeleton w/roses on its head in a rose garden as originally drawn by Joseph Sullivan. Pin holes at corners w/some scattered age/moisture spotting to lower area w/concert and venue information. Upper right corner shows moderate wear as lower left corner tip shows wear. VG.
