Item Description
Lot of 46. This is the first series of Wacky Packages ever released. These were issued over a two year period, 1967-68, with several print runs and a number of variants due to Topps replacing some cards because of cease and desist letters from product manufacturers. While there are 44 numbered cards in the set, there are a total of 56 different counting all variants. Each is a 2.5x3.5" card w/die-cut punch out and adhesive coating back as opposed to the peel off stickers that would follow. PSA graded cards/grades (and variants if applicable) are: NM 7 (#9), EX-MT 6 (#s 5-Campy Spidey Soup,7,11,12,21-Moron Salt,22,35,41), EX 5 (#s 1,6-Slum Maid Raisins), VG-EX (#15- De-Mented Rotten Tomatoes). The other card variations in this lot are: 2-Fearstone, 5-Chock Full, 18-Schmutz, 23-Muller Beer, 32-Weakies, 34-Duzn't, 37-Coronation Milk & Breadcrust, 38-Cracked Jerk, 43-Jolly Mean Giant. All cards are unpunched/unused and overall the non-PSA cards are EX to NM.
