Item Description
21x28-3/8" uncut sheet has both Bill Graham concert posters BG-152 and BG-153. First printings. Used to promote the 1968 New Years Eve shows at Fillmore West and Winterland in San Francisco, CA that featured The Grateful Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Company, It's A Beautiful Day, Santana, Vanilla Fudge, Richie Havens, Youngbloods and Cold Blood. Both feature art by Lee Conklin, w/BG-152 having child emerging from broken skull nestled in between pair of bare breasts and surrounded by odd animal and human shapes. BG-153 features large hourglass design w/bare breasts and contains countless tiny nude humans in place of sand. Sheet shows scattered edge/corner tip wear w/some minor handling wear. Fine overall w/bold color.
