Item Description
Pair of 12.75x17.25" flats from 1950s. Box fronts feature Buffalo Bee mascot w/"Free Inside!" premium notices for two different Rin Tin Tin premiums that were issued as box inserts. "Rin Tin Tin Telegraph Key" flat has art image of telegraph key w/illustration of boys using it. Upper right has Rin Tin Tin portrait. Bottom right has "Rin-Tin-Tin Code." Side panel has offer for premium "Honey Bee Scatter Pin." 1956. Unused file copy w/no folds. NM. "Indian Wars Medal/Frontier Hero Medal" flat has actual size art image of medal w/art image of Rin Tin Tin-inspired Fort Apache scene. Also shows the four different medals in series. Side panels have Buffalo Bee shirts and premium dinosaur figures. Late 1950s and issued at time of "The Adventures Of Rin Tin Tin" TV show, but no Rin Tin Tin name/images. Folded along center scored line, but is o/w unused file copy. Some lt. corner tip wear, VF/Exc. overall. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
