Item Description
Pair of cereal box flats from two different companies, promoting the same (albeit differently named) walking horse premium that was issued as a box insert. Late 1950s "Wheat Honeys" flat measures 12.75x17.25" and features Buffalo Bee mascot on front w/banner promoting "Western Mystery Horse" premium. Full back panel shows children playing w/premiums. Side panels have ad for "Collector's Dolls From Around The World" and Buffalo Bee shirts. Folded along center scored line but o/w unused file copy. Some minor corner tip wear. Exc. 1960 Canadian "Cheerios" flat measures 13.25x20.5" and has Western images of front below "Free Inside! 'Rocky' The Walking Horse" text. Back has parts to cut our and assemble "Rocky's Ranch." Side panels have premium assembly instructions. Unused file copy w/no fold. NM. Comes w/factory-sealed version of this classic premium that was sold in stores in illustrated envelopes such as the one offered here. Envelope has Gold Plastics, Inc. copyright. NM as packaged. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
