Item Description
22.75" tall plastic Matchbox rotating store counter display unit has 11" dia. base and is complete w/full complement of period (1966-1970 issued vehicles), Numbers 1-75 . Case condition is as follows, outer plastic sleeve is clear w/original seam intact (seam shows moderate dust soiling). However, at some point the three 55¢ price areas were cut from the sleeve and the holes were covered over by "Gulf" stickers. The Vacuform plastic top is intact w/some clear tape on one inside edge spot. Vacuform interior shelving unit has a crack in space 27 and there are areas of damage including cracks, small pieces missing along the row of turning handles at the bottom of the display. Thick plastic base is free of defects. Display is Fine overall. The 75 vehicles all appear to be NM, old store stock, removed from their boxes to be placed in the display. Vehicles will be removed from display for shipping.
