Lot of three Vol. 1 #1 issues, each published Jan. 1943 by Trojan Publishing Corp. "Speed Mystery" cover features woman being menaced by man w/crutch. Complete and unfaded cover and spine, pulp shows just lt. wear and cream-colored pages remain supple. Fine overall and a choice example. "Speed Detective" cover features woman and maid reacting to gun behind them. Covers show wear to bottom of spine and upper margin of back cover has tiny edge sliver off. Cream-colored pages remain supple though w/some minor scattered edge wear. VG/Fine. "Speed Adventure Stories" cover features knife-wielding lumberjack abducting female cook through window. Covers show moderate edge wear as well as some wear to bottom of spine. Cream-colored pages remain supple. VG/Fine. "Speed Detective" and "Speed Adventure Stories" come w/COAs noting they came from the voluminous Southern State Collection. Great first issue trio.
