Item Description
Pair published in 1934-1935 by Popular Fiction Publication Co. Both feature cover by Margaret Brundage. Vol. 23 #2 (Feb. 1934) cover shows woman recoiling from large fire and man swinging scimitar from other side. "The Valley Of The Worm" story by Robert E. Howard. Complete cover and spine, w/some wear at bottom of spine and lt. scattered wear. Dark cream-colored pages remain supple. Fine overall and choice example. Vol. 26 #4 (Oct. 1935) cover features woman in tattered dress w/large wolf. Complete cover w/slight fade to spine and 1.5" tear at center spine that affects number of pages, diminishing in size. Aside from fade and spine issue, pulp shows relatively little edge wear. Dark cream-colored pages remain supple. VG.
