Item Description
Pair published in 1933 by Popular Fiction Publication Co. Both feature cover by Margaret Brundage. Vol. 22 #2 (Aug.) cover shows bound woman being abducted by tattooed Indian devotee, who scales exterior of building. Vol. 22 #5 (Nov.) cover features woman in elaborate gown caressing human skull. "Shambleau," first published story by pioneering female Sci-Fi author C.L. Moore. Both have complete covers w/slight fade to spines, but o/w show just lt. wear. Cream-colored pages remain supple. Contents page for each has neatly inked page count notations for each story. Fine overall and choice examples. "Bookery's Guide To Pulps & Related Magazines" value for pair in stated condition = $350.
