Single-sided 5-3/8x16.25" paper banner. 1941, © Superman, Inc. Sign states "Coming Soon To King Arthur Markets" and features classic image of Superman from knees up in classic hands-on-hips pose and mentions "Join The Superman Junior Defense League Of America - Ask Your Grocer For Details." Sign also promotes "Free Adventure Story Card In Every Loaf." Several bread signs in this format were produced, but w/different text/art. Sign has vertical fold at center as issued and faint creases at lower corner but is o/w Exc. Rare.
