Item Description
Pair of approx. 3.5x6" single-sided promotional cards issued by New York, NY radio station WOR 710. Card featuring classic image of Superman breaking chains dates to Oct. 2, 1944 and mentions that the Superman radio show is changing time, noting new schedule line-up that also included "Uncle Don, Chick Carter" and "Tom Mix." NM. 1945 card featuring Superman's "S" symbol and classic "Superman" comic book title logo mentions other radio shows carried by the station, including "Uncle Don, Mysterious Traveler, Roosty Of The AAF, Chick Carter, Full Speed Ahead" and "Tom Mix" in addition to Superman.  Left margin has two thin streaks on ink staining to edges, but card is o/w VF. Both are Mutual file copies as both have "File - Mutual" stamps on reverse.  Both are rare.
