Item Description
These color 1.25" buttons were first issued by Bastian after Hoover's 1928 election and his button has single date of "1929". Later, St. Louis Button Co. got the order and added FDR with dates of "1933-1945" and Truman with date of "1945-". Of 32 possible, this group of 30 is missing John Adams and James Monroe. Jefferson has one long cello crack. As for back papers: six are without, there are 13 for St. Louis ( in two designs) and 11 for Bastian. Brown color is in the design, although Polk does have large air mark. Rest are Exc. to Mint. See previous item for "RKO" variety.
