Item Description
1.25" same as following set except fronts include theatre chain initials "RKO" and this set ended with Hoover. In 1931, this massive 2,800 seat RKO theatre opened in Albany (and has been restored and preserved). Apparently, they decided to celebrate a "President" week utilizing the Bastian made buttons as a club premium. Each includes a back paper which reads "RKO Palace Times Union President's Club/This Button And 10¢ Entitles You To Attend Any Matinee During President (name) Week." Each button has its correct paper except for Harding which has a paper naming Cleveland. Taft has 1" long hairline cello split on reverse while others are Exc. to Mint. Rare.
