Item Description
1.5x1.75" w/bw photo front and text back w/player information. These were issued in matchboxes. Over 100 cards in the set and numerous photo and back varieties exist.
Lloyd Gearhart played in the minors and Cuban leagues from 1944-56 and had one season in the majors with the New York Giants in 1947. Later, he was a scout for New York Mets and was awarded a World Series ring from their 1969 championship. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
