Item Description
2-15/16x3-7/8". Cards in this set are enlarged versions of JBR 2. Nearly all cards discovered to date feature the same images and text as JBR 2. Blank backs generally contain prize sheet marks, indicating that these were prize winner premiums. Listings with asterisks indicate cards identical except for size to JBR 2.

Takeshi Doigaki was a professional baseball player in the Japanese Baseball Leagues. He played with six different teams over 14 seasons. He was Japan's top catcher in the years following World War II. Overall, Doigaki put up a .282/.350/.400 line in 1,413 games in Nippon Pro Baseball, with only 298 strikeouts in 4,783 at-bats. Designated by SGC as from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
