Item Description
5-7/8" long w/1-5/8" dia. DeWitt/Sullivan 1888-54, Hake #3181. Featured is a reverse on glass sepia tone real photo jugate dated above "1888". Impressive heavy brass shell badge w/full text reading "National Association Of Democratic Clubs" w/short chain suspending a figural anchor at bottom. Glass has moderate edge wear most notably an area of loss between 6 and 7 o'clock affecting the lower part of Cleveland's coat. Fine. Brass has only moderate wear retaining nice luster, Extremely Fine. A rare and impressive badge that makes an ideal centerpiece for an 1888 riker display.
