Item Description
7-3/8x12x7/8" deep box w/nicely illustrated lid contains complete set made in England by Chad Valley (as marked on cardboard gun) for the Spanish market, 1940s. Box has slight inward warp and all over dust soiling on lid, which has one corner split and a side panel tear. Box is Fine overall. Illustrated box tray serves as base to set up the three die-cut cardboard Donald Duck targets, each matching the three illustrations of Donald on box lid. Each target was attached to wooden base/stand w/rubberbands (two still partially attached/attached) and stand approx. 5" tall in total. Die-cut cardboard gun was used to shoot rubberbands at targets. Set shows little to no wear and is Exc./NM. We have seen only one other set like this in our 53 years, which sold two auctions ago for $908. Rare and exceptional set.
