Item Description
AFA graded and encapsulated 14.75x17.75" display case contains original white mailer box, Vacuform plastic tray w/set of four 2.25-4.25" tall action figures including Luke Skywalker (standard saber w/letter on saber hilt), Princess Leia, Chewbacca and R2-D2, baggie w/additional plastic pegs for attaching figures to the plain cardboard stand included in the Early Bird Certificate Package, mini-catalog advertising the "Star Wars" toyline and mail-away offer for the Early Bird Premium Collector Stand. Kenner used this mail-away promotional offer in order to get Star Wars action figures to consumers before they hit store shelves as they were not able to get their figures to market in time for the 1977 holiday season. Offered in a special "Star Wars Early Bird Certificate Package," consumers could send away for this kit offered here. ©1977, Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corp. Figures are all loose/HK and have been individually graded by AFA and do not come w/baggies. Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia (Brown Hair & Belt) and R2-D2 have all been graded AFA 80 NM while Chewbacca has been AFA graded 85 NM+.
