Item Description
8.25x10-7/8" vintage magazine covering who's who and what's what in Major League Baseball for the upcoming 1937 season. Opening Day rosters are presented for every National and American League ball club with each team's manager highlighted and pictured. Interesting stories of note cover St. Louis Cardinals pitching great, Dizzy Dean, outstanding Red Sox hurlers, Lefty Grove and Wes Ferrell, fantastic pictorial of the New York Yankees (World Champions), and final 1936 individual and team statistics. The highlight of the magazine is the two page center-fold where the All-Stars from both leagues are pictured along with a note detailing the upcoming All-Star Game to be played in Washington D.C. on July 7th. Magazine exhibits some minor wear from handling but no major condition issues. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
