5.5" tall by 8.5" long by 6.25" wide china teapot made in England and marked Crown Ducal Ware on underside. 1939. French and British flags appear on both sides, w/the blue portions having obviously faded. Front side has "Liberty And Freedom" text while opposite side has "War Against Hitlerism - This Souvenir Teapot Was Made For Dyson & Horsfall Of Preston To Replace Aluminium Stocks Taken Over For Allied Armaments, 1939" text over "That Right Shall Prevail" text. Dyson & Horsfall was an English store of the period. Teapot is further adorned w/flags of French Imperial and British Commonwealth countries, including New Zealand, India, Canada, Australia, South Africa and others. Typical lt. crazing but o/w Fine. Scarce.
