Item Description
Pair of 1940s figural ceramics made in England depicting wartime British leaders. Large 7.25" tall Churchill toby jug was made by Wilton Pottery as marked on bottom, which also bears famous "Never Was So Much Owed By So Many To So Few" quote. NM. Smaller 5" tall toby mug depicts General Archibald Wavell, The Earl Wavell, a senior officer of the British Army who served in the Second Boer War, World War I and World War II. Mug was made by Royal Winton as marked on underside. Figural sword handle. Glossy and Exc.
