Item Description
Lot of 18 postcards, each approx.3.5x5.5". 1940s. Lot includes six color cards, three anti-Japan and three anti-Hitler cards from "Hitler Comics" series, including two w/chamberpot design, one w/Hitler as skunk and Uncle Sam flushing Japanese fleet. Two cards have been used. Some lt. scattered wear and one w/writing that has vertical crease at center. This one is Fine overall while others are VF. 12 bw cards are from large "Axis Series" by Graphic Postcard Company, many featuring art by B.F. Long. Great Anti-Axis images include Hitler face on pig's rear, Hitler as pig, Axis leaders as pigs, Uncle Sam pulling Axis teeth, Axis leaders in trash cans, etc. All remains unused though some have some scattered age spotting.
