See previous items for Frank Hawks info. 3.75" dia. by 1.25" thick metal paperweight/calendar by American Emblem Company Inc. features high relief wings design at top like the premium badge. 1940. Underside has original paper label w/handwritten order/production figures for New England Calendar & Novelty Co. distributor. Top has inset celluloid-covered window w/Dec. 1940 calendar page. Two wheels to right of this were designed to advance paper calendar strip, but these do not function as this is a distributor sample. Scattered aging but VF overall. Very rare. This is the only known example and is the actual example shown in "The Official Price Guide To Pop Culture Memorabilia" by Ted Hake and comes with COA.
