Item Description
21.75x35" on cardboard by "Globe Poster Baltimore." Headline at top "T.P. Productions Presents... N. Y. Fun City Festival". Advertising a concert "Sat. Aug. 31" at "Downing Stadium" on "Randall's Island" in New York City. Additional acts include "Arthur Conley, Big Maybelle, The Mirettes & Jimmy Pelham." A 1.5x2" loss w/5.5" vertical tear at bottom center affecting text & image of The Mirettes, .25" hole affecting the cheek of Dave Prater, horizontal bends that are stabilized on reverse w/5 strips of brown paper tape causing the poster to not lay flat. Staple holes, edge wear, scattered foxing, moderate age toning and handling wear. Good. The only example known to us. A terrific Soul, R&B, Blues line up w/bold day-glo colors that is worthy of attention from a professional conservator.
