Item Description
AFA graded and encapsulated blister card contains 2.5" tall action figure of astromech droid R5-D4, released in Turkey in 1988 by SB Products. These unlicensed Star Wars figures have attained cult status among collectors, as some feature wonderfully bizarre modifications and unique (and oftentimes humorous) card art. The R5-D4 figure was not modified for Turkish release, but was branded "Arfive Defour (R2-D4)." Comes with AFA "Qualified Scale" COA stating "This Item Has Been Closely Examined By A Collectible Toy Professional At Action Figure Authority, Inc., And Has Been Found To Be Authentic. Because This Is An Item With Properties Which Differ From The Properties Of Most Standard Production Items, AFA Has Assigned A Grade Under Our Qualified Grading Scale." Of note, the COA states that this piece features has "Hand-Glued Blister." AFA-graded 30 QY-FAIR (Archival case). AFA subgrades are as follows - C30 B30 F80. Very rare as carded. Nearly every Uzay piece graded by AFA has received a Qualified grade. Comes w/notarized Collectible Investment Brokerage (CIB) LOA.
