Item Description
17.5x22.5" on tan card stock. Advertising a benefit concert in "Westport" Connecticut at "Staples Auditorium" on "Aug 29" 1964 featuring "Leonard Bernstein, Isaac Stern, Tossy Spivakovsky, Frank Brieff" and "Aldo Parisot" in support of Freedom Summer. Illustrations on right are by Tracy "Sugarman" who chronicled the events of Freedom Summer through illustration publishing three books "Stranger At The Gates: A Summer In Mississippi", "We Had Sneakers, They Had Guns: The Kids Who Fought For Civil Rights In Mississippi" and "Nobody Said Amen." Light brown moisture mark at lower left corner, pin hole w/light brown stain at top r/l corners, a few scattered light brown dots of foxing in field and moderate edge wear. Fine. The first we've seen.
