Item Description
15/16" brass. Obverse portrait and name with reverse wreath around slogan "The Nation's Good". Only the slightest smoothing of raised details. Small traces of original luster remain. DeWitt explains this tenth 1824 election initiated the practice of producing articles of personal adornment for the purpose of attracting voters to that candidate. Thus, the medal is holed for a ribbon. Seldom seen, NM.
