AFA graded and encapsulated Empire Strikes Back box flat that has been assembled and contains 7.5" tall Artoo Detoo (R2-D2) action figure. Proposed for Kenner's popular 1980 "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" 12 Inch Series toyline, but never put into production. ©1980 Lucasfilm Ltd. AFA-graded 60 Q-EX. AFA subgrades are as follows - B60 W80 F85. This is the only AFA graded example as assembled w/figure as opposed to a regular box flat. Originally owned and assembled by a Kenner employee. A unique rarity, sought after by even the most advanced Star Wars collectors. Comes with CIB LOA for box flat as well as AFA Qualification LOA. Russell Branton Collection.
