Item Description
15x16-3/8"artboard comes w/vintage matte that was once glued to artboard. Mixed media original art for cover to "Tarzan" #139, published by Gold Key Dec. 1963. Action-packed cover by George Wilson shows Tarzan protecting his ape friend Gorluk from a lion attack. This issue was notable for introducing Tarzan's son Korak to comic audiences. Bottom and left edges of artboard have printer registration labels affixed and bottom margin has label w/handwritten title and job number. Artboard has some aging but art remains clean and would display Exc. if matted and framed.
