Item Description
Large and impressive 23.75x117.5" hand-made airbrushed banner on thin, glossy vinyl-coated fabric. Likely made 1958-1959 for use at multiple custom car shows, airbrushed text reads "Mouse Monster Shirts" and features artist Stanley Mouse's signature running Mouse sketch at right below hot rodder's Iron Cross. Mouse's classic airbrushing was on display at his T-shirt booth at these shows and banner shows expected wear as such. Top margin shows moderate wear while right end shows obvious aging and wear w/tape repair on back to 10" vertical tear at top by T in "Monster." Margins have tack holes and scattered pulls. Airbrushing shows scattered wear w/some areas of missing paint, mainly confined to blue area along bottom though Iron Cross shows obvious wear. VG overall. Unique.
