Item Description
8x9.75" on "Woodrow Wilson" stationery dated "November 30, 1912." Addressed to "Mr. A. R. Pinci" a reporter for The New York World. Wilson writes in part "You May Be Sure That I Am In Hearty Sympathy With Any Policy That Will Further Inter-national Peace." Signed at conclusion in fountain pen ink. Pencil inscription along bottom edge and top left of reverse reading "Probably The First Autograph Letter By President Elect Wilson On Foreign Policy." Three horizontal and one vertical mailing folds w/tiny separations at r/l of center horizontal fold. Handling wear and moderate age toning. Fine. Signature has fading of black ink but remains legible. Comes w/Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
