Item Description
1.75" without maker name and a design mate to the previous button. The 1941 Brooklyn Dodgers won the National League pennant with a record of 100-54 under National Baseball Hall of Fame player/manager Leo Durocher. The offense was led by a quartet of future baseball Hall of Famers: Paul Waner (OF), Joe Medwick (OF), Pee Wee Reese (SS) and Billy Herman (2B). Brooklyn would fall to the American League champion New York Yankees in five games during the 1941 World Series.  This one has small union bug stamped on reverse which makes tiny raised bump on the front just barely felt and seen in reflected light. Glossy and Exc. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
