Item Description
Done in uncommon size of 1-11/16" with spring pin holding ribbon, chain and plastic baseball. Clem Labine began his Major League Baseball career in 1950 with the Brooklyn Dodgers and would remain with the Dodgers through the 1960 season before finishing his career in 1962 after brief stints with Detroit, Pittsburgh and the New York Mets. Labine would finish with a career record of 77-56 along with an ERA of 3.63 and 551 strikeouts. Photo paper under the cello is rippling a bit and surface is irregular to the touch. Back cello has 1" hairline split along the collet but so tight it can barely be seen. Photo paper also has near microscopic craze lines in the emulsion surface. However, button remains totally clean with high gloss. Fine. Paul Muchinsky Collection Book Example.
