Item Description
1.75" no maker with spring pin holding two ribbons, chain and plastic bat and ball. This is a very unusual player image from this era as it is the only one that we have seen presented in color. Early Wynn began his Major League Baseball career with the Washington Senators in 1939 and pitched for them through the 1948 season. In 1949, Early joined the Cleveland Indians and would go on to be one of their ace pitchers for the next nine seasons before moving on to the Chicago White Sox in 1958 and finishing his career with a final season with the Indians in 1963. Wynn finished with a career record of 300-244 along with an ERA of 3.54 and 2,334 strikeouts. Early was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1972. Exc.
