Item Description
1.75" no maker with union bug back stamp. Bill Werle began his Major League career with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1949 and spent the next four seasons there before moving on to St. Louis and finally, Boston in 1953-54. Werle's rookie season of 1949 would mark the only double digit win total of his career (12).  Tiny 1/16" cello split by reverse collet. Only small traces of surface wear. Glossy. VF.
